Neuro Aqua Groups
Neuro Alliance’s Aquatic Therapy group sessions provide an opportunity for clients to complete an individually tailored program designed by their primary therapist in a supervised environment.
Every group session is supervised by a Neuro Alliance member of staff, who will provide advice, encouragement, and physical assistance as required.
Neuro Aqua Red
Aqua Red is tailored for participants to complete their individual aquatic therapy programs within a small group setting (maximum of four participants). These sessions are overseen by a skilled Physiotherapist who provides essential support and guidance. Both Aqua Red and Aqua Blue classes permit participants to have a support person alongside them in the water, aiding in the execution of their prescribed programs. Aqua Red is specifically designed for participants capable of using stairs for pool entry, without relying on a pool hoist for transfers.
Neuro Aqua Blue
Aqua Blue is designed for participants to engage in their individual aquatic therapy programs within a small group setting, with a maximum of four participants. These sessions are under the supervision of a skilled Physiotherapist, ensuring essential support and guidance. Aqua Blue classes allow participants to have 1-2 support person/s alongside them in the water, assisting in the execution of prescribed programs. Specifically catered to those needing maximal assistance in the water, Aqua Blue accommodates participants requiring the use of pool hoists, water wheelchairs, and shower trolleys for both pre- and post-care needs.
Neuro Aqua Orange
Aqua Orange groups are for individuals capable of independently executing their individual hydrotherapy programs without direct physical assistance. Supervised by an Exercise Physiotherapist or Physiotherapist, these groups maintain a higher number of participants, making it impractical for clients to bring a support person into the pool. The emphasis is on self-driven engagement, guided by professionals, to ensure a conducive environment for individual progress within the hydrotherapy program.
