Tone And Function Clinic
Abnormal muscle tone is a common challenge following neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, and spinal cord injury. At Neuro Alliance, our Tone and Function Clinic provides specialised medical and therapy support to help clients manage tone and spasticity and maximise functional outcomes.
Our weekly clinic is led by Rehabilitation Specialists Dr Roslyn Mozer, Dr Alex Dennis, and Dr Rochana Jayatilake, who provide comprehensive assessments and targeted medical management of tone-related issues.
Working in close collaboration with our physiotherapy team, our consulting specialists ensure every client receives coordinated, evidence-based care. Physiotherapists utilise a range of techniques including stretching, splinting, and adaptive equipment recommendations to help manage spasticity, prevent contractures, enhance movement, and improve overall strength and function.
We also partner with Neuro Orthotist Tim Nicholls for the assessment and prescription of custom orthoses, ensuring each client’s physical needs are met with precision and comfort.
This integrated, multi-disciplinary approach lies at the heart of Neuro Alliance’s philosophy of delivering personalised, evidence-based care that supports mobility, independence, and confidence.
