What is the Paediatric Neurological Upper Limb Service

Our paediatric Neurological UL Service specialises in supporting children with a variety of neurological conditions that impact their ability to use their arms and hands in everyday tasks. We look at the underlying causes of the functional difficulties and work with families to support their children to maximise their functional upper limb use and engagement in everyday activities.

Our approach to Neurological Paediatric Upper Limb Therapy

We analyse your child’s current movement patterns and development, and identify where this may vary from normal, using standardised and observational movement analyses. This information assists us in our goal directed intervention planning.

We work closely with our Adult Neurological Upper Limb service to assist in complex assessment and intervention planning as required.
